United Imaging has received Health Canada approval for multiple digital PET/CT models in its uMI Panorama product family.
uMI Panorama features a National Electrical Manufacturer Association (NEMA) PET resolution of 2.9 mm, a time of flight (TOF) resolution of sub-200 ps, and a CT rotation of 0.25-second rotation speed for quantitative accuracy and small lesion detectability. Other features include an AI-powered workflow, multiple axial field of view (FOV) choices, a 76 cm wide bore, and a total table weight of 700 lb.
United is preparing uMI Panorama for sale in Canada and will ship from the company's Houston, TX-based headquarters.
