
Alliance Healthcare Services announced that it will be acquired for $820 million by Akumin, a provider of freestanding outpatient radiology services in the U.S.
The combined company will offer radiology and oncology solutions to patients at more than 1,000 hospitals, 154 outpatient radiology centers, and 34 radiation therapy centers in 46 states, according to Alliance.
The deal is expected to close in the third quarter of this year.
