GT Medical Technologies has inked an agreement with Perspective Therapeutics to acquire all radioactive cesium-131 seed assets from its subsidiary Isoray Medical.
The company hopes the deal will decrease customer order lead times for the cesium-131 seeds – which are a key component to its GammaTile therapy for patients with operable brain tumors – "allowing even more patients to benefit from this … technology," it said.
