Ultrasound and radiotherapy vendor CIVCO Medical Solutions of Kalona, IA, has named Mike Marshall as vice president of engineering.
Marshall will oversee engineering and R&D functions throughout CIVCO's interventional, radiation oncology, ultrasound, and urology product lines. Marshall most recently served as technical director at electronics manufacturing services firm Celestica, based in Toronto.
In other news, the company released two new needle guidance systems for ultrasound scanners made by Zonare Medical Systems of Mountain View, CA.
The P4-1 and E9-4 needle guides are designed to work in conjunction with biopsy software on Zonare's z.one ultrasound platform.
