Canadian ultrasound developer Ultrasonix Medical of Richmond, British Columbia, launched new breast imaging and mobile radiology systems for its OpenSonix platform at this week's RSNA conference in Chicago.
The SonixTouch Breast Imaging system offers spatial compound imaging, pulse inversion harmonics, and elastography imaging modes, using a touchscreen interface, with built-in tutorials for several applications. The transducer selection includes narrow and wide linear components plus a hockey stick broadband transducer used for small parts imaging.
The SonixTouch Mobile Radiology system offers spatial compound imaging and pulse inversion harmonics on a compact, lightweight, battery-powered mobile system with wireless and Ethernet DICOM connectivity capability.
