The Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) Certification Academy has announced a partnership with Gulfcoast Ultrasound Institute to develop online training for healthcare providers on the front line of the COVID-19 pandemic, according to Inteleos, a medical certification organization.
The training will feature modules on ultrasound fundamentals, lung pathologies, and key scanning techniques, and it will culminate in a certificate of completion, Inteleos said.
Inteleos is the governance and management organization for the Point-of-Care Ultrasound Certification Academy, as well as the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) and the Alliance for Physician Certification and Advancement (APCA).
