Breast cancer radiation therapy developer Xoft microTube has received $18 million in a series B round of financing led by Sutter Hill Ventures of Palo Alto, CA. The Fremont, CA-based firm has developed disposable miniature x-ray tubes designed for radiation therapy procedures. Xoft said it would use the funding to advance its position in the brachytherapy market.
