Linda Grable, CEO, chairman of the board, and co-founder of laser breast imaging developer Imaging Diagnostic Systems of Plantation, FL, has retired as of April 15, according to the company.
Grable has been CEO since August 2001 and, since inception in 1993, has served as chairman of the board of the firm. The board of directors has appointed Jay Bendis and Sherman Lazrus as co-chairmen of the board and has begun an immediate search for a new CEO. It has appointed Allan Schwartz, executive vice president and chief financial officer, to serve as interim CEO until a new CEO is appointed.
