ASTRO prints breast cancer therapy information

The American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (ASTRO) has published a new patient information brochure, Radiation Therapy for Breast Cancer: A Patient's Guide to Understanding Treatment.

The free booklet offers information for patients who are contemplating radiation therapy following a lumpectomy or a mastectomy. The brochure also helps patients find support groups and information on clinical trials.

Copies of the brochure can be obtained by contacting Beth Bukata at 1-800-962-7876 or at [email protected]. The publication can also be viewed online at www.astro.org/patient/.
