MDX plans three additions to its Galileo image fusion family.
Galileo BodyGuide is a full-body PET/CT image fusion and 3D modeling software package. It provides automatic PET/CT nonrigid image coregistration and fusion, according to the Oakville, Ontario-based firm.
Galileo LungGuide offers lung SPECT/CT image fusion and 3D modeling capabilities, providing automatic SPECT/CT nonrigid image coregistration and fusion. It's suitable for diagnostic thoracic radiology applications, MDX said.
The last Galileo addition, BrainGuide, yields brain SPECT/CT image fusion and 3D modeling, also providing automatic SPECT/CT rigid image coregistration and fusion. It's designed for neuroradiology applications, such as in stroke, stenosis, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, and brain tumor cases, MDX said.
All three packages are scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2005, following receipt of FDA clearance.
