Information management systems firm Communication Synergy Technologies (ComSynTech) has received a U.S. patent covering its InForm radiology workflow offering. The patent provides protection for the information processing software and methodologies that form the core of InForm, according to the Rochester, NY-based firm.
ComSynTech said the patent specifically recognizes the approaches InForm uses to manage dictation over a distributed network, its use of dynamic templates, the application and utilization of its proprietary dictation-conversion device, and how dictated information is distributed.
