Advanced visualization firm Vital Images reported record revenue for its fiscal 2006 third quarter (end-September 30), with net income holding steady compared with fiscal 2005 numbers.
The Minneapolis-based company posted revenue of $17.8 million for the third quarter, up 35% over revenue of $13.2 million recorded in the third quarter of 2005. Net income remained at $1.6 million, equivalent with net income stated for the same period last year.
A majority of Vital Image's third-quarter revenue came from license fees for its products -- $11.7 million in the period, a gain of 29% over $9 million shown in the third quarter of 2005.
