ContextVision secures ultrasound patent

Image enhancement software developer ContextVision has secured a patent for a new skeletal visualization technology for 3D ultrasound.

SkeletalView helps clinicians better visualize the fetal skeleton during pregnancy to assess for fractures and malformations, ContextVision said. It is integrated into the company's rendering software, REALiCE.
