Breast imaging software developer Volpara Solutions has appointed Katherine Singson as its new CEO.
Katherine Singson, new CEO of Volpara Solutions.Singson comes to Volpara with more than 30 years of business-to-business and direct-to-consumer experience, ranging from startups to multinational companies such as NeXT/Apple, Pixar, and Microsoft. She was mentored by Steve Jobs at all three of his companies and then spent several years abroad, including in Australia, where she worked at Microsoft ANZ (Australia and New Zealand), Volpara said.
Singson, who is also a recent breast cancer survivor, will be based in Silicon Valley, according to the company.
