Computer-aided detection (CAD) software developer EDDA Technology of Princeton, NJ, is releasing a new version of its liver analysis software.
IQQA-Liver V1.2 includes tools that help physicians assess liver volumetry, liver lesions, vascular structures, and liver segments and lobes from multislice CT studies. It also includes workflow tools to enable physicians to work more efficiently.
The software performs automatic anatomic phase registration to allow simultaneous visualization and easy cross-referencing of lesion location and characteristics across the different phases, according to the company. It also provides automated segmentation tools and additional multiple real-time tools for users to interactively separate and label specific liver segments and lobes in 3D.
