Computer-aided detection (CAD) firm Medipattern of Toronto posted increased revenues for fiscal 2008.
Revenues totaled $801,000 Canadian ($659,000 U.S.) for the year, up 49% compared to $407,000 Canadian ($335,000 U.S.) in fiscal 2007.
The firm's net loss for fiscal 2008 rose 36% to $3.5 million ($2.9 million U.S.) from $2.6 million ($2.1 million U.S.) in the previous year. The company attributed the higher loss to increased expenses, including sales, marketing, administrative, and product support costs, according to Medipattern.
