Medical imaging AI company Avicenna.AI is launching AVI, a new platform that provides healthcare organizations with access to imaging AI software that can be integrated into existing workflows.
AVI integrates directly with PACS and RIS without requiring additional viewers, worklists, or changes to clinical workflows. It is designed to host any imaging AI application, and will initially provide access to Avicenna's Cina portfolio.
The company said it specifically developed AVI for hospitals, healthcare networks, and teleradiology groups seeking to benefit from imaging AI applications. It integrates seamlessly into existing healthcare systems via global standards such as DICOM, HL7, and FHIR, Avicenna added.
AVI also deidentifies data before processing and reidentifies upon return for data protection compliance. It also features encryption, access controls, and auditable operations for patient privacy.
