Philips gets FDA nod for Cardiovascular Workspace

Philips has received 510(k) clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the latest release of Cardiovascular Workspace (IntelliSpace Cardiovascular, ISCV).

Philips Cardiovascular Workspace on HealthSuite now has cloud-hosted availability and software-as-a-service (SaaS) deployment. It aims to help health systems speed up AI adoption and automate analysis, documentation, and reporting.

The company said the workspace provides the foundation for future AI-enabled tools and workflow insights across cardiology care and enables secure remote reading while improving efficiency.

The latest release expands Philips' collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to bring integrated diagnostics to the cloud, it said.
