Canadian firm Bycast will show off its Endeavour MultiSite and Enterprise storage software.
Both MultiSite and Enterprise allow for creation of what Bycast calls storage grids, which utilize enterprise-wide storage pools to enable faster and easier storage and retrieval of fixed content data, including images, documents, audio, and video.
The Endeavour software allows healthcare providers to enhance their PACS networks by growing capacity or connecting existing systems, according to the Vancouver-based company. Bycast says this is accomplished by adding new components and sites to the grid using open standards and protocols such as DICOM. The Endeavour software is available now in the U.S. and the rest of the world.
