Cerner brings its Unified RIS/PACS with 3-D capabilities to McCormick Place.
Cerner’s Unified RIS/PACS combines its RadNet RIS with the ProVision PACS, according to Kansas City-based Cerner. The application, built around a single Millennium-based person-centric architecture and database, features unified RIS and PACS functionality.
The developer is highlighting its unified voice recognition, case sign-out, electronic medical record (EMR) access, and universal reading worklist in its desktop application. In addition the Unified RIS/PACS has extensive 3-D capabilities, including a new point-and-click segmentation function.
Available now, Unified RIS/PACS is targeted for hospitals, Independent Delivery Networks (IDNs), and large imaging centers, Cerner said.
