At the first RSNA meeting following its merger, Wayne, NJ-based Konica Minolta will be onsite with a new identity as well as the new DryPro 771, a dry laser network imager with a compact footprint.
DryPro 771 includes a one-channel tray up front and dimensions of less than three feet in width, four feet in height, and two feet in depth. It can handle film sizes of 14 x 17, 14 x 14, or 11 x 14, according to Konica Minolta. It can be used for all diagnostic modalities, and can be hooked up directly to a DICOM network.
The processing speed is approximately 110 14 x 17-inch sheets per hour, or 150 11 x 14-inch sheets per hour. The imager uses a semiconductor laser as its imaging source.
DryPro 771 also includes features such as a timer and an auto character recognition function to add pertinent information to image data. An auto density control uses an internal densitometer to provide stable output, Konica said.
