PACS firm Merge eFilm’s acquisition of RIS Logic is bearing fruit with the launch of Fusion RIS/PACS.
The addition of a RIS Logic RIS module to Fusion PACS enhances the interoperability of the RIS and PACS, according to the Milwaukee-based firm. In addition, integration can be accomplished with third-party RIS or PACS networks as well, the firm said.
In other introductions, version 1.9 of the firm’s eFilm workstation software will be on display. The software allows for simultaneous viewing of multiple studies, cross-referencing, and measuring, the company said.
Users can also pan, zoom, and annotate, as well as deploy 3-D/MIP and MPR tools. Other capabilities include window/level presets, synchronized stacking, reference lines, cine function, volume rendering, and integrated CD burning.
