NDS will debut a 19-inch AMLCD for clinical/referral applications.
PrimeVue features “out of the box” DICOM compliance -- that is, without the need for extra calibration software or light-meter pods, according to the Morgan Hill, CA-based firm. The 1280 x 1024 color display includes a DVI-I connector and serial interface.
PrimeVue controls the luminance response and color temperature from a 1,786-step pallet, yielding 300 cd/m2 peak brightness, National Display said.
The company will also show its Nova family of monochrome AMLCDs for primary diagnostic use. Available in one-, two-, three-, and five-megapixel configurations, Nova displays are a bundled package including the video card and “personality file” for each panel.
After the personality file is loaded at installation, NDS’ Intelli-Guard feature maintains conformance with the DICOM standard’s grayscale display function, according to the firm. NDS will also demonstrate its Vector displays for patient monitoring and surgical applications.
