Planar Systems will shine the spotlight on its Adara QX family of referral-quality flat-panel displays.

Intended for general medical viewing applications, the Adara QX displays come in two-megapixel and three-megapixel configurations, according to the Beaverton, OR-based vendor.

The displays are shipped with the firm’s Cxtra Adara-edition software for DICOM calibration and enterprise management, which sets and allows for adjustment of the display’s gamma-correction table to meet the DICOM standard, the company said. In addition, the software's simple network management protocol (SNMP) allows central location monitoring of display performance, and calibration for all of Planar’s Dome and Adara displays.
