Sony is focusing attention on its FilmStation dry thermal imager.
FilmStation, a 14 x 17-inch imager introduced earlier this year, uses a dry thermal process and can output up to 70 CT and MRI films per hour. It prints 12-bit (4,096 shades of gray) contrast resolution images at 320 dpi, according to the Park Ridge, NJ-based vendor.
