(Booth 7128) Amicas of Boston will focus on version 6.0 of its PACS software in its exhibit booth at McCormick Place, with a particular emphasis on a new viewer as well as the company's RadStream critical results reporting tool.
Version 6.0 features an enhanced viewing environment with a new patient profile and image viewer, according to Amicas. The patient profile provides radiologists with a comprehensive view of a patient's imaging history, including a snapshot of prior exams, current and prior orders, reports, and key clinical documents, Amicas said.
The new viewer, called Halo Viewer, builds on the company's existing Web-based viewer and adds intrinsic 3D functionality, advanced tools for mammography workflow, and personalization of viewing tools, Amicas said. Users can have access to a blended 2D and 3D view all within one viewer. Both Halo Viewer and the patient profile compliment Amicas' RealTimeWorklist functionality, according to the company.
Amicas will also point to its RadStream software for communication and documentation of critical results, as well as its Reach software for providing referring physicians with access to images, reports, and information. A new order-entry module for Reach allows referring physicians to request orders for new studies, Amicas said.
