(Booth 1509) Candelis of Irvine, CA, will show off new mammography and advanced visualization functionality for its ImageGrid line of image management software in its RSNA booth.
The firm will be highlighting its ImageGrid RIS/PACS appliance, featuring the company's new technology suite. The suite, which has received U.S. Food and Drug Administration 510(k) clearance, includes Candelis' ImageGrid PACS Web Viewer, ImageGrid PACS Mammography Viewer, and ImageGrid PACS Referring Physician Viewer.
Web Viewer is a Web-based diagnostic viewer for general radiology applications, while Mammography Viewer provides for mammography-specific diagnostic reading, according to the vendor. Referring Physician Viewer allows offsite referring physicians to access images via a secure Internet connection, Candelis said.
Candelis will also unveil its ImageGrid Integrated Radiology and Mammography Workstation, a thin-client, five-headed appliance PC designed for radiology and mammography applications. It includes RAID 5 archiving with initial raw capacity ranging from 1.5 to tens of terabytes, an embedded database for more than 100 million images, and automatic rule-based and HIPAA-compliant storage, Candelis said.
In advanced visualization developments, Candelis will shine the spotlight on its ImageGrid Advanced Radiology Web Viewer. The software features multiplanar reformatting and maximum intensity projection capabilities, customized hanging protocols, and series linking, Candelis said. Radiologists can use Advanced Radiology Web Viewer to perform diagnostic reading of CT, MRI, computed radiography/digital radiography, and ultrasound studies from anywhere using a secure Internet connection, according to the firm.
