(Booth 8342) Carestream Health of Rochester, NY, will unwrap its work-in-progress SuperPACS architecture, designed to help unify sites with multiple PACS networks installed.
The SuperPACS platform is designed to allow healthcare IT staffs to connect disparate PACS at multiple sites throughout a healthcare system, according to Carestream. It will offer a unified, common global worklist and can drive existing PACS applications already installed at a site, Carestream said.
SuperPACS also will aid in workload balancing among all available radiologists and provide a single desktop with one user interface and one set of clinical application tools, Carestream said.
In advanced visualization highlights, Carestream will show a new generation of its Carestream PACS featuring advanced applications. The work-in-progress PACS will include real-time matching of volumetric data from CT, MR, and PET/CT cases with synchronized views and image manipulations, according to the vendor.
It also will include native support for PET/CT fusion with PET standardized uptake values, PET/CT synchronized views, volume matching of current and prior cases, and a viewer for reading and comparing studies using 2D/3D views, Carestream said.
