(Booth 3247) Italian PACS vendor EBIT AET will be in Chicago to showcase the latest upgrades to its Risolution RIS/PACS offering, which includes support for advanced visualization applications.
EBIT AET has added a number of enhancements to Risolution, including support for DICOM presentation state. As a result, users can save and preserve a physician's set of image viewing preferences for later use, according to the Genoa, Italy-based firm.
The company also will show a number of advanced clinical applications, including 3D processing software, tools for performing quantitative vascular analysis for planning stent implants, and tools for the analysis of multiphase cardiac CT studies, EBIT AET said. In addition, EBIT AET will present virtual colonoscopy capability for viewing prone and supine projections of colon CT scans in both 2D and 3D.
Other new features include tools for oncology studies through the interaction of PET and CT images and digital orthopedic software for preoperative planning and simulation of joint surgery.
EBIT AET also will introduce a scientific PACS designed to facilitate anonymous studies and image postprocessing for research applications.
