(Booth 9124) Swedish healthcare informatics firm Sectra will showcase its RIS/PACS offering for the North American market at this year's RSNA conference in Chicago.
In particular, Sectra will highlight the benefits of its RIS/PACS for customers who deliver radiology services across several institutions and/or communicate between several different healthcare providers, according to the Linköping-based vendor.
Sectra also will be directing attention to the latest additions to its PACS portfolio, including a diagnostic workstation for mammography reading that's been cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. The vendor also will spotlight a referring clinician workstation that features integrated orthopedic preoperative planning tools.
In addition, Sectra executives will emphasize the ability of its PACS, for example, to manage a distributed workflow environment, making use of technology such as dynamic data reduction and progressive image transfer.
