(Booth 7713) Look for Philips Healthcare of Andover, MA, to introduce a new mammography workstation as a work-in-progress in its booth in McCormick Place.
The MammoDiagnost VU mammography workstation is designed for viewing and analyzing mammography images. A unique feature of the workstation is its ability to automatically align the left and right breast images based on tissue images, according to the company. U.S. Food and Drug Administration 510(k) clearance for the workstation is pending.
Philips also will show a set of mammography reading capabilities for its iSite PACS software. The improvements include a specialized set of tools designed for screening and reading of mammography exams.
