(Booth 7103) Avreo will take the opportunity to unveil its interWorks mammography viewer and breast imaging tracking system.
The system is designed to allow customers to view, manage, and store digital mammography images, according to the Charleston, SC-based firm. The digital mammography viewer has received Food and Drug Administration clearance, and obviates the need for radiologists to use a separate mammography workstation, Avreo said. Referring physicians can also access the mammograms directly from their office.
The system adapts to facility size, exam volume, or workflow demands, and is scalable for a breast clinic, hospital, imaging center, or multisite enterprise, Avreo said. Users can also view, manage, and store images from multiple sources and modalities. It also supports the Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) initiative and provides all PACS users with access to current patient images and information, the company said.
In other RSNA demonstrations, the company will be discussing its new peer-review functionality.
