Video-capsule manufacturer Given Imaging has received Austrian Health Ministry clearance for reimbursement of its M2A capsule endoscope product throughout the Austrian hospital system. Reimbursement was effective January 1, 2003 and covers a broad range of gastrointestinal disorders to be reimbursed up to euro 1,300 ($1,435, U.S.), according to the Yoqneam, Israel-based firm.
