Abbott Northwestern Hospital of Minneapolis and Siemens Medical Solutions of Malvern, PA, have signed a 10-year partnership agreement for cooperative cardiac research and development activities. Siemens has agreed to provide funding for research efforts, and Abbott Northwestern will utilize Siemens’ cardiovascular imaging technologies.
In addition, Siemens Building Technologies will assist in the layout and design of a new 128-bed heart hospital, set to open in February 2005.
