Infrared imaging technology provider OmniCorder Technologies has completed its name change from Promos. Effective today, the East Setauket, NY-based firm’s common stock will begin trading under its new symbol, OMCT.OB.
In December, OmniCorder announced a $7.8 million funding, coinciding with the reverse acquisition of publicly traded company Promos. The name change and new ticker symbol better represent the company’s operations and reflect its mission to identify, acquire, and adapt military and aerospace technology for biomedical applications, according to founder, president, and CEO Mark Fauci. OmniCorder’s BioScanIR system is available in the U.S. and Europe.
