Healthcare informatics developer Cedara Software has partnered with Canadian government agency Science North to create a medical imaging exhibit, the Mississauga, Ontario-based firm said.
Cedara has contributed two medical imaging components to a Human Machine exhibit. The first component lets the general public order tests for an imaginary patient using modalities such as MRI, CT, or ultrasound. The exhibit uses Cedara software to display images to show what the tests reveal, and an interactive video explains the diagnosis, the company said.
The exhibit's second component is a self-paced multiple-choice quiz that enables participants to examine real images and select an appropriate answer, Cedara said.
