Monitor distributor Double Black Imaging had added several new monitors to its product portfolio. The Westminster, CO-based firm, which serves as a distributor for monitor manufacturer WIDE, has added self-calibrating LCDs with retractable sensors, a remote administrative calibration package, and two color LCD offerings.
The WIDE M series of displays come in two-megapixel, three-megapixel, and five-megapixel LCDs powered by a high-speed digital graphics controller. They also feature an electronic front sensor that emerges from the bezel and retracts when calibration is complete, Double Black Imaging said.
The displays are bundled with a remote administrative software package for DICOM 3.14 calibration and remote monitoring; the two-megapixel version was released this month, with the three-megapixel and five-megapixel displays to follow in May.
The vendor is also unveiling new color displays, including a 1.3-megapixel LCD and a 2-megapixel unit. Double Black Imaging said the displays are capable of replacing most existing review or modality CRT monitors.
