Matrox Graphics has secured several new vendor partners for its RAD2mp display controller. Siemens Display Technologies will be bundling RAD2mp with its SMD 19200 medical display.
British monitor distributor Avnet UK will also be offering bundled versions of RAD2mp with its Eizo RadiForce medical displays. The RAD2mp display controller can provide dual-output support of up to two-megapixel grayscale or color displays, as well as analog or digital units, Matrox said.
In other Matrox news, FIMI Philips has selected Matrox's Med series of display controller boards to bundle with its new 10-bit displays. Matrox display controllers will be exhibited at several booths at this year's UK Radiological Congress in Manchester, U.K., according to Montreal-based Matrox.
