FDA OKs Aspen Imaging's ceiling x-ray system

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has cleared Aspen Imaging Healthcare's ceiling-suspended x-ray system, AspenOTC T4.

The system features a pillar-style elevating table that not only elevates silently but also provides better accessibility for wheelchair patients. AspenOTC T4 also comes with a portable foot switch that allows the operator to move to a more comfortable location in the x-ray room, the firm said.
