National Medical Development has formed Renaissance Medical Ventures, a new company that will acquire distressed outpatient healthcare facilities such as diagnostic imaging centers, surgery centers, and endoscopy suites.
The Bellevue, WA-based firm will then integrate the facilities into its network, which is expected to grow to 20 centers over the next three to five years.
Renaissance will be headed up by president and CEO Antony Clarke. Prior to co-founding Renaissance, Clarke served as vice president of the entrepreneurial business group at Philips Medical Systems.
