Dunlee launches tube support program

Imaging equipment component supplier Dunlee, a division of Andover, MA-based Philips Medical Systems, has launched a new online support program for servicing CT x-ray tubes.

Tube Service Assistant is an online support assistant for independent service organizations (ISOs) and clinical engineers that provides pictorial and video instruction for CT tube installation. It's designed to serve as an adjunct to OEM service manual guidelines, according to the company.

The first CT system featured under the program is the LightSpeed series from GE Healthcare of Chalfont St. Giles, U.K. Support for other scanner models will be rolled out in the future, according to Dunlee of Aurora, IL.
