The American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) Foundation said that the Siemens Clinical Advancement Scholarship has been renewed through 2018.
Funded by Siemens Healthcare, the program will award a maximum of four scholarships per year for radiologic technologists, valued at $5,000 each, the foundation said. Siemens will also contribute $3,000 per year to cover some of the costs associated with managing the program.
Renewing the scholarship means ASRT can help more RT professionals work toward building their clinical skills and meeting their academic goals, said ASRT Foundation Director Phelosha Collaros.
