Mammography and orthopedic imaging firm Planmed has received a Health Canada medical device license for its Verity extremity scanner.
Verity is used for conebeam CT for upper and lower extremities. The device received clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in February and already has the European CE Mark, South Korean approval, and Russian and Australian certification, according to Planmed.
