The Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (SCCT) is urging its members to submit comments to the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) on a proposed cut in coronary CT angiography (CCTA) payments.
The proposed 2021 outpatient reimbursement rate for CCTA would reduce payments again, for a 33% drop since 2017, SCCT said.
The society has a template members can use to express concerns to CMS online. Comments are due by October 5.
