French artificial intelligence (AI) software developer Avicenna.AI has partnered with German radiology AI platform provider Deepc on AI algorithms for brain imaging.
As a result, Avicenna's stroke suite of triage and quantification algorithms will be available on Deepc's deepcOS platform. Two Avicenna triage applications -- CINA-LVO for flagging suspected large vessel occlusion (LVO) on CT angiography and CINA-ICH for highlighting suspected acute intracranial hemorrhage (ICH) on CT scans -- have received U.S. Food and Drug Administration clearance.
A third tool -- CINA-ASPECTS for automatically measuring an Alberta Stroke Program Early CT (ASPECT) score to assess ischemic changes in stroke -- has secured the CE Mark.
