Imix wins Florida installation

Digital radiography developer Imix ADR of Tampere, Finland, has won a deal to install its DR technology at an orthopedic practice in Florida.

The company will install its CCD-based URS-DDR system at Boca Raton Orthopedic Associates. The facility is implementing a filmless radiography environment in all its exam rooms, with a centralized reading workstation.

Imix previously supplied its CCD-based DR technology to Trex Medical, which was acquired in 2000 by Hologic of Bedford, MA. The company is now selling 2K and 4K DR systems though independent dealer organizations in the U.S.
