Blackwell Publishing will launch Congenital Heart Disease: Clinical Studies from Fetus to Adulthood next year. According to Blackwell, Dr. Douglas Moodie will serve as editor in chief. A pediatric cardiologist, Moodie is the chairman of the department of pediatrics at Ochsner for Children in New Orleans.
A peer-reviewed publication, Congenital Heart Disease will cover fetal, infant, and child-based care, as well as adult care. Topics will include cardiac imaging and diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization. The journal, published six times a year, will offer clinical studies, invited editorials, and CME material.
