Digital x-ray and mammography vendor Hologic will feature InSight, its new mini-C-arm x-ray system.

InSight is designed to help orthopedic surgeons perform minimally invasive surgical procedures of the extremities and is also suited for low-dose, in-office imaging procedures. The company now offers two lines of mini C-arms: InSight and Premier Encore.

Bedford, MA-based Hologic is forming a new division, Skeletal Health, to highlight its expanded efforts in the orthopedic and rheumatology imaging markets.
