Konica Minolta Medical Imaging USA has received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 510(k) clearance for its Regius Sigma tabletop computed radiography (CR) reader.
Targeted at low-volume sites, Regius Sigma weighs less than 70 lb and has a small footprint (20 x 24 x 14 inches), according to the vendor. It also utilizes flexible plate technology.
Konica Minolta has also released a version of its ImagePilot service for Regius Sigma.
