GE Healthcare and catheter ablation technology developer Endosense of Geneva have inked a joint development agreement.
Under the deal, the firms will integrate ablation catheter contact-force data from Endosense into GE's CardioLab electrophysiology recording and Innova imaging platforms. By combining their technologies, GE and Endosense aim to develop an all-in-one system for performing catheter ablation procedures for treating cardiac arrhythmias.
